Onsite UPS maintenance, callout, hire
As part of our UPS maintenance cover, we carry out onsite assessments of your assets, including supporting photos, including any remedial work that's needed.
We offer various levels of cover to suit your needs based on frequency of attendance, parts, labour and different incident response times.
We also guarantee you a temporary loan unit within an agreed timescale, should your machine be irreparable and need to be replaced.
Regular scheduled maintenance visits
Book in regular UPS maintenance visits to include a comprehensive initial service as well as:
- Quarterly check (visual and cleaning, recording logs, non-intrusive infrared scanning)
- Annual (battery impedance, thorough inspection and report)
Following all maintenance visits, you'll receive a detailed report from our service engineers, including before and after photos as reference.
Load bank testing
Talk to us about load bank testing on your UPS, using our portable 4kW load banks.
We'll replicate full load conditions to make sure your UPS is fully functional and can safely and reliably carry the load that you need it to.
Where possible, we can also carry out live battery health monitoring to enable us to give advance warning of potential failure and advise you regarding battery replacement schedules.
Agreed cost limits for replacement parts
As part of your UPS maintenance contract, we'll agree upfront cost limits for consumables and parts in the event of a breakdown.
Any additional costs can be discussed with you at the time, but this approach enables us to order any required parts within the agreed limits and simply act fast to get your equipment back into operation.
Monitoring of critical components
As part of UPS maintenance and remedial works, it may be necessary to temporarily switch power source.
We monitor all critical components of your system during a mains changeover, while on generator and upon returning to the mains.
We'll thoroughly check all critical and non-critical systems, providing a pre-check report and an evaluation of risk, so that you're both informed and prepared.
